Alem Mumuni’s story is one that will resonate with me for the rest of my life and I truly hope you enjoyed the episode and learn many of the lessons Alem offered us.
For me, is biggest lesson was that we all have a bigger mission than what we think. Sometimes we get distracted by the goals that we’re fixated with at the moment and we forget that we might be changing lives and influencing others with our actions and with our example. When Alem felt short of the Paralympic in Britain his first try, he understood that even though he did not reach his goal, he was able to create change because of his efforts. We all have a mission in life, and sometimes we forget that whatever we’re doing, is bigger that the outcome.
We all have a mission in life, and sometimes we forget that whatever we’re doing. This mission is bigger than the outcome of whatever journey you’re on. Who are you impacting and how? is it for good? Are you improving those around you to improve your community? The world?
